Oudai Tozan, Education Researcher and Consultant
Dr. Oudai Tozan
I am an education researcher and consultant specialising in education in Syria. My expertise lies in analysing the political economy of the education sectors in Syria. I also analyse the impact of the Syrian conflict on the education system and how these systems contribute to peacebuilding and social justice in Syria. I completed my PhD in 2024 at the University of Cambridge, where my thesis focused on understanding the role of the academic diaspora in developing higher education in Syria. I have provided consultancy to international organisations and governments regarding education in Syria, bridging academia and policy research to offer actionable insights and strategic advice.
